James Corden has revealed that he risked the wrath of Mariah Carey by stealing something from her house.
On last night's (March 21) The Late Late Show with James Corden, the host took part in the regular 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts' segment with John Boyega and Drew Barrymore, where they have to reveal truths or eat something disgusting.
When challenged to either eat a 1,000-year-old egg or reveal if he'd ever stolen anything, Corden tried to get away with the cheesy "my wife's heart" answer, before Boyega pushed him to confess something else.
"This is completely true and I've never told anybody this. I once stole a candle from Mariah Carey's house. These candles, they say Mariah Carey and there's a butterfly on them, and we had gone to film this Christmas Carpool Karaoke," Corden explained.
"I had to go to her house and we were going to film from there. We were supposed to film at 3, and I was told get there at 4 and they'll probably be ready and then I waited in her living room until 6.30 just on my own, and I thought, 'Well, I'm going to take this candle for my time' and I still have it today. I'm sorry Mariah, but you had loads."
We wait to see if Corden's revelation will be granted with a response from Carey herself, especially if she ever wonders where one of her candles went.
