Given the amount of Carpool Karaoke episodes out there, it's now more a case of who HASN'T joined James Corden on his daily commute around LA.

Well, it may surprise you to learn that Sam Smith was one such act… until now. (He has got a new album to promote and all.)

The 'Too Good at Goodbyes' singer took part in the latest Late Late Show skit – and he got a big surprise from James.

During their car ride, Sam declares his overwhelming love of Fifth Harmony, revealing he wants to "walk down the aisle in heels" to 'Work from Home'.

"I want a funeral for my single self before my wedding," he adds. "I'm in a coffin, and there's a PowerPoint presentation about my single life... and then I raise from the coffin, and then everyone takes off their black clothes and they're wearing white. And then the wedding begins."

Then, Fifth Harmony themselves join the duo in the car, with Sam exclaiming: "I'm actually shaking! Oh my god, this is my dream!"

They naturally belt out 'Work from Home' together, and they better sort out the 'featuring Sam Smith' version soon, because it totally worked.

Elsewhere, Sam and James teamed up for a few duets, including amazing renditions of 'Stay with Me' and 'I'm Not the Only One', and things certainly got emotional as Sam revealed that James was one of the first celebs to champion his music. Aww.

While Sam seemed to be loving his Carpool Karaoke experience, one recent star that was less of a fan was Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, saying he found the shoot "a little uncomfortable". Yikes.
