The first season of 13 Reasons Why saw past events seen from Hannah Baker's perspective, but the new episodes will be less "black and white".
That's according to new cast member Anne Winters – who teased what fans can expect from season two.
"The people [in the show] who are doing wrong maybe don't even understand that it is wrong, and the people that are going through it are thinking, 'Is this wrong?'," she told Flare magazine.

"This season will explore a little of those grey areas – it's not as black and white as last season – so that when people raise the question of, 'Well, wasn't it her fault that she did this or that?' this season shows a different take on it.
"You'll have a lot more answers this season on why people are doing what they're doing."

We already know that season two will have a different narrator, so we're guaranteed to see a different point of view. Even from season one, though, there have been hints that Hannah's account of events may not be the whole truth.
The biggest indicator is the note that Zach Dempsey kept – which Hannah had claimed in her tapes that he threw away.
Meanwhile, Winters talked about her own character and who she will be playing.
"She's a cheerleader," she said. "I can't really tell you too much, but I can say that I am one of the new characters and you will see a lot of me. Chloe is a very different character than other people I've played."
Kate Walsh (who plays Hannah's mother Olivia) previously teased the second season, saying that "more and more of the mystery [will get] revealed".
"I think you see Mrs Baker still questing for the answers of what happened to her daughter," she added.
13 Reasons Why season two is coming to Netflix in 2018.
