You might not be familiar with the song, but Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane belting out a track at the top of their lungs is more than enough. Who knew this unlikely duet sounded so good together?
Carpool Karaoke: The Series has released a clip featuring the 'Dangerous Woman' singer and MacFarlane singing 'Suddenly Seymour' from the musical Little Shop of Horrors.
Grande took to Instagram yesterday (August 22) to hype the upcoming video with the Family Guy creator, 43, as she wrote: "Tonight on @carpoolkaraoke @applemusic !!! @macfarlaneseth and I serve you some show tunes."
The singer also added that the segment was "shot almost a year ago so this is very exciting. hope you enjoy!"
At one point in the video, MacFarlane hits the breaks pretty hard, but the two kept going. Grande tweeted afterwards that he 'low key' nearly crashed the car.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which can be seen on Apple Music, is a spin-off of the segment James Corden popularised on The Late Late Show.
Future episodes will feature duos such as Alicia Keys and John Legend; Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams; and Miley Cyrus, with her sister Noah and father Billy Ray.
Fretting about the absence of Corden? He's not banished from the seat. The Late Late presenter is an executive producer on the new series and will also appear – his first episode at the wheel is with Will Smith.
