We all love Game of Thrones, mostly, and while at times the show can seem like it's utterly perfect, it's still liable to suffer from a few plot holes.
One such plot hole is the way that characters in the show can basically jetpack around Westeros, while in previous seasons it took agggges for characters to get where they were going – see The Hound and Arya's trek, Tyrion heading to meet Daenerys and Gendry (oh sweet lord, Gendry).
But while it obviously makes for a far better TV show when characters aren't trudging around for seasons on end, it has made one plot hole a lot more apparent, namely WHY ARE THE WHITE WALKERS TAKING SO LONG TO GET TO THE WALL?
Especially considering the horde of the undead has basically been marching for months now and even Samwell Tarly, who isn't the sportiest man in the world, managed to beat them back to the Wall and zip off to the Citadel before they've even laid eyes on Castle Black.
To illustrate this fact, one Reddit user, erterberns67, drew on a map showing how far Jon Snow has travelled since the battle with the White Walkers at Hardhome in season 5, episode 8.
Sure, since then the White Walkers nipped up to see (and kill) the Three-Eyed Raven before marching to Eastwatch, which we'll see in episode 6.

Meanwhile, Jon has travelled from Hardhome to the Wall, gone into the north to recruit northern soldiers, then to Bear Island in the north west, then over to Winterfell for the Battle of the Bastards, then down to Dragonstone to meet Daenerys Targaryen, which is right at the other end of the country.
The King in the North then heads back to the other end of the country in a small boat up to Eastwatch and ventures into the north with his band of not-so-merry men – yet STILL the White Walkers haven't arrived.
We can only assume that the White Walkers will finally rock up at the Wall some time around the end of this season, but who knows, it could be longer.
In other Game of Thrones news, episode 6 'Beyond the Wall' leaked after HBO Spain accidentally published it. Then the show's social accounts were targeted by hackers in yet another attack on the show.
Meanwhile, Littlefinger actor Aidan Gillen revealed that he might not be after Sansa after all, and this fan theory suggests that right now, he is by far winning the Game of Thrones.
