The spectre of the Man in Black will haunt Westworld for a while yet.

Ed Harris confirmed that he'll be back on the HBO hit next season, in an interview with BBC Radio 4's Front Row.

"I was just talking to Jonah Nolan last night, who's a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they're doing another season," he said. "They're going to do 10 more episodes, and I will be involved."

The Man in Black's identity has been debated furiously by fans of the series, with many suspecting that he's an older version of William (Jimmi Simpson).

The show's latest outing, 'Trace Decay', went some way towards confirming the theory, as Harris's character recognised a blonde female host left at the scene of an attack by Wyatt's men.
