Diane could go face-to-face with Alicia again in The Good Wife spinoff.
Last month, CBS confirmed that Christine Baranski will reprise her role as Diane Lockhart for the as-yet-untitled show, set one year after The Good Wife finale, alongside Cush Jumbo as Lucca.
And now, executive producer Michelle King hasn't ruled out bringing Julianna Margulies to the series. "We might [see Alicia]," she told TVLine. "It's all being conceived right now."
Alicia definitely won't be employed at the firm though, after Diane KO'd Alicia in the series finale. "It'll be fun to build [the company] anew," King added. "But also, the thinking is new characters."
The new series will air exclusively on the CBS All Access subscription service, and The Good Wife creators Michelle and Robert King will pen the pilot episode.
However, the Kings will then turn over the show to another writer as they focus on new CBS thriller BrainDead.
The Good Wife spinoff will help launch CBS All Access, which is also being used to premiere Bryan Fuller's Star Trek series.
