ABC president Paul Lee spoke about a possible spinoff of Mike Kelley's drama series at today's (August 4) TCA press tour.

The network developed a potential spinoff called The Kingmakers last season, but it never went beyond the pilot stage.

Lee told Deadline: "We didn't pick up the [Kingmakers] pilot, but Revenge is a wonderful brand around the world and it doesn't preclude us from doing it again."

Revenge made its debut on ABC in 2011, quickly earning a small but devoted following.

The series earned Golden Globe and People's Choice Award nominations during its four-season run.
