The upcoming reboot of Prison Break has announced four new cast members.

It was revealed back in 2023 that the iconic '00s show was getting a revival, which is set in the same universe as the original series but with new characters.

Things finally started moving along earlier this month when The Affair's Emily Browning, Euphoria's Lukas Gage and The Winchesters' Drake Rodger were cast as series leads.

According to Deadline, Mayans MC stars Clayton Cardenas and JR Bourne have now joined the cast as series regulars, alongside Dumplin's Georgie Flores and BMF actor Myles Bullock.

Cardenas has signed up to play a character named Ghost, described as a "ruthlessly dangerous inmate at one of the deadliest prisons in America."

Bullock will also play an inmate at the prison named Darius 'Red' Lewis, while Bourne has been cast as Junior, a "mentally unstable lone survivor of a decades-old prison break that devastated the town."

Finally, Flores will portray Andrea, one of the female cadets training to be a corrections officer at the prison.

Browning was previously cast as former soldier-turned-corrections officer Cassidy Collins, while Gage is set to play a politician called Jackson, who is from a privileged background and is running his first congressional campaign.

Rodger landed the role of an inmate called Tommy, who has been in prison for a decade.

Further plot details remain under wraps for now, though the show was picked up for a pilot at the end of 2024.

From Mayans MC co-creator Elgin James, the reboot is not expected to include original characters Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell).

The Prison Break reboot has yet to confirm a release date. All five seasons of the original show are streaming now on Netflix.
