Mary Murphy has been dropped as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance.
Fox confirmed today (January 12) that Murphy will not be a part of So You Think You Can Dance when it returns later this year.
A spokesperson for Fox said: "Mary has been a huge part of So You Think You Can Dance, from mentoring the dancers as a choreographer to inspiring fans as a judge.
"She will always be part of our Dance family, and we wish her continued success."
Murphy first appeared on So You Think You Can Dance as a guest judge in season one in 2005, with her popularity with viewers subsequently securing her a permanent spot on the judging panel two years later.
The choreographer had been the longest-serving judge aside from Nigel Lythgoe on So You Think You Can Dance prior to her departure.
