The Following has cast actress Zuleikha Robinson as a new series regular.
The former Lost star will play Gwen, the new girlfriend of Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) in series three. She's an ER doctor with a seven-year-old daughter.
The show will test the couple's relationship after an attack on New York City that will cause Ryan to obsess about finding who is behind it.
Bacon discussed the addition of Gwen at Comic Con (via The Wrap), saying: "He will truly be in a better place in his life.
"He's open to real and lasting relationships. We jump ahead again and we see a man who's a little more at peace. Ryan is trying some domesticity."
Creator Kevin Williamson recently revealed that the third season will follow an entirely new storyline.
