True Blood's Kristin Bauer van Straten has mocked controversial politician Sarah Palin.
The actress shared her opinion of the political figure during the show's Comic-Con International panel on Saturday (July 26).
Bauer van Straten said that the ex-governor "will weigh in on anything", before revealing that Palin turned down an offer from HBO to make a cameo on True Blood.
In a season seven episode, the show featured a bloody fictional fundraiser for real-life US Senator Ted Cruz, and also made several references to Republicans - including one character referring to herself as "a Republic**t."
Kristin Bauer van Straten told those at Comic-Con: "It's sweet many, many years later [after first hearing of Palin] that I've made her angry, I had fun doing it."
The True Blood panel reflected on the past seven seasons of HBO's vampire-themed series, and showed a 'Goodbye Sucks' video starring main cast members.
