Pitch Perfect's Anna Camp has landed a new role in a supernatural horror film, From Black.
The True Blood actress, known for her role as Sarah Newlin on the hit series, will be starring alongside Jennifer Lafleur (Big Little Lies), John Ales (Euphoria), Travis Hammer (Godless) and Ritchie Montgomery (Ozark).
In the film, Anna plays a young mother who is still struggling to come to terms with the guilt of the disappearance of her young son five years ago and is offered the chance of a lifetime to find out the truth.

Thomas Marchese (Fallen) is directing the script that he co-wrote with Jessub Flower, and production has now started in Mississippi.
Thomas said of the upcoming project (via Deadline): "The idea was to take a dark police procedural and cross it into a flat-out terrifying supernatural horror story. And I really feel we have nailed the tone and hit that mark in a big way."
Alongside her leading role, Anna is also one of the producers on the movie.

Anna is also set to star in an indie comedy with Jurassic Park star Joseph Mazzello, who also played John Deacon in Bohemian Rhapsody.
Bob and Amy tells the story of Joseph's character Bob, a former music critic, and his animal-loving wife Amy, played by Anna.
The couple decide to adopt a baby from teenage sweethearts who are finishing up at school.
The actors will star alongside Neil Flynn, Ryann Shane and Nash Grier in the movie.
