Two new cryptic promos for The Following have been unveiled by Fox.
The newly-released clips focus on former FBI agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) continuing to be haunted by the dangerous Joe Carroll (James Purefoy).
The Following's first season followed Hardy's attempts to catch Carroll and the cult that he founded to seek revenge on those who wronged him.
The case became more complicated due to a romantic connection between Hardy and Carroll's ex-wife Claire Matthews (Natalie Zea).
True Blood's Carrie Preston and Leslie Bibb are to join the cast of The Following for the upcoming second season.
The show's creator Kevin Williamson hinted at Comic-Con International over the summer that season two will focus on the dynamic between Hardy and Carroll.
Fox airs The Following's season premiere on Monday, January 20 in the US. Sky Atlantic broadcasts the series in the UK.
