AnnaSophia Robb has credited The Carrie Diaries with teaching her about fashion.
The actress admitted to Us Magazine that she actually had a limited knowledge of fashion before being cast as style icon Carrie Bradshaw.
"I've started to care a little more about fashion," Robb revealed. "I'm starting to wear a lot more tights now. Carrie wears a lot of tights."
She continued: "I'm starting to wear more patterns. Carrie doesn't really have a specific color - it's more layering of different patterns and textures and eras together."
Robb went on to admit that she occasionally tries to emulate Carrie Bradshaw's style in her own life.
"It kinda depends on the day - on how much energy I have to put into it," she teased. "On New Year's I wore a big poofy white skirt, which is very Carrie... big crinoline!"
