Loki season 2 spoilers follow.

Disney+ has released a Loki season 2 mid-season trailer, showcasing a little bit of what to expect in the final two episodes.

Following the episode 4 cliffhanger in which Victor Timely was turned to ribbons and the entire universe and the various timelines were starting to follow, things are pretty bleak.

And we get a bit of that in the trailer, what with plenty of talk about the severity of the situation, Miss Minutes glitching out, and Ravonna Renslayer in The Void.

But there's also plenty of light-hearted moments, including some typical Marvel quips and the confirmation that Mobius actually did, in fact, work as a jet ski salesman.

"You won't believe what's coming," teases the trailer, hinting that all the craziness that has come before is just the tip.

"I'll say this, we didn't want to do the season 1 cliffhanger again — two chapters, same book," he said. "Your book has to have an ending and be fulfilling in some way.

"I can't spoil anything. I don't want to. I'll just say I think those last two episodes – because of where the first four go – we're able to go to some really profoundly beautiful places in those episodes."

Loki season 2 is streaming now on Disney+, with new episodes airing weekly on Fridays.
