Loki executive producer Kevin Wright has revealed that Jonathan Majors's arrest earlier this year didn't affect season 2 of the show.

The actor, who plays Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (having debuted as He Who Remains in Loki season 1), was arrested and charged with assault and aggravated harassment earlier this year after an alleged incident with a former partner in March.

Majors still features prominently in Loki's upcoming season, having filmed his scenes last year prior to the arrest, and Wright has revealed that his legal issues have not resulted in any changes in post-production.

"The story that is on screen is the story we set out to make. We went out there with a very specific idea of what we wanted this to be, and we found a way to tell it in that production period. It’s very much what’s on screen on Disney+."

Following the initial arrest and charges, Majors was accused of further abuse in an article by Rolling Stone. The actor has maintained his innocence, with his lawyers saying they are "confident that he will be fully exonerated".
