Grey's Anatomy season 19 has cast Sam Page in a recurring role.
According to Variety, the star, who played Greg Harris in Mad Men, is set to make his first appearance in the medical drama's Thursday, May 4 instalment, as the severely injured Air Force pilot Sam Sutton.
"Although he's coping with trauma, he somehow maintains his sense of humour and charm," teased a character description.

Season 19 has seen the show airing a temporary goodbye to Ellen Pompeo's character Meredith Grey, but some fans were rather underwhelmed by her exit scenes.
Addressing the general reaction, showrunner Krista Vernoff explained to TVLine that the manner of Meredith's departure was very much intentional.
"It wasn't a farewell episode, it was a leaving-Seattle episode, because we knew we were going to see Meredith again this season and more next season as well," she said.
"So it was a different kind of farewell than some that we've done where it's like, 'That's the last you're ever going to see that person'. We didn't want to do that."

Vernoff, who's stepping down as Grey's and Station 19 showrunner at the end of their current seasons, added: "We wanted a sweet 'See you later' kind of thing for Ellen. And then, we've still got her voiceover anchoring the show, which I think has a much bigger impact than anyone is fully aware of.
It was recently confirmed that Meredith will be making an appearance in the season 19 finale.
Grey's Anatomy season 19 airs on Thursdays on ABC in the US. The show streams on Disney+ in the UK, where new episodes premiere on Wednesdays.
