Modern Family duo Julie Bowen has shared a downside of her reuniting with co-star Nolan Gould – inaccurate rumours that they're dating.
Having played mum Claire and son Luke Dunphy on the sitcom for 11 seasons, it so happens that Bowen and Gould are near-neighbours out in the real world.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, the actress spoke about her ongoing relationships with the Modern Family ensemble.

"I live really close to Nolan and I see him a lot," Bowen revealed, before expressing her bafflement over the resulting assumptions.
"We actually went out the other night. It's fun when you go out with someone from Modern Family, they're like [mock gasps] and plus they're like, 'Is it like a Brady Bunch situation?' Because didn't Mrs Brady... with Greg?"

She went on to joke: "Nolan's now 24, he's good-looking, he's tall. And now I'm dating him! It's weird. It worked for Mrs Brady!"
They're just pals, it's that simple.

Their former co-star Ariel Winter previously discussed why she felt Modern Family was right to wrap up in 2020.
"It was very sad to see it end, but I think it ended in a great place," said Ariel, who played Alex Dunphy on the long-running series.
"Because, you know, some shows go on way too long and then you're not satisfied with the ending, but you're like, 'We have to keep going' and whatever. Then you're like, 'Oh, it didn't end the way we wanted to'.
"But I really think we ended at a great time. We had a wonderful run and I think they tied up everyone's characters really, really nicely."
