The Marvel Cinematic Universe has had a lot to release in 2022, with even more to come. Of everything that's come out so far, Moon Knight is one of the most eccentric.

Starring Oscar Isaac as a man with Dissociative Identity Disorder who is also the vessel for an ancient Egyptian god, the show broke ground for Marvel despite critics and fans having issues with its plot holes and chaotic narrative.

The possibility of a second season has been mentioned a few times, including by Isaac, although nothing has been officially confirmed.

When asked to clarify previous comments that season 2 was definitely happening, Isaac told Collider: "We can't definitively say that. I need my teasing abilities. Can't drain me of those. What a cock tease I am. Always been... We'll see what happens. But at the moment, there's no official word."

Even if season 2 doesn't happen, the actor isn't done with the world of comics by any means, as the interview features himself and his childhood best friends talking about the graphic novel that the three of them have created, as well as their love of Dungeons & Dragons.

Of course, this is Marvel so even if the Moon Knight show is a one-and-done, it doesn't mean there isn't plenty of scope for the character, in any of his identities, to return — especially with the move into more supernatural territory lately.

Moon Knight is available to stream on Disney+ in its entirety now. The next Marvel Cinematic Universe film to release is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will be released in cinemas on November 11.
