Every single MCU movie and TV show is constantly combed through by fans searching for the many Easter eggs Marvel scatters throughout their projects.
Not all of those Easter eggs are always picked up, however. In an interview with Digital Spy, Moon Knight costume designer Meghan Kasperlik revealed three Easter eggs that viewers missed in the Oscar Isaac-starring show.
The first of these Easter eggs revolves around the psychiatric hospital that serves as an important location in the series.

"When Layla is in the mental institution, and the other people that are reoccurring characters are in the mental institution, each one of them has a little Easter egg put into it. It’s what signifies where they are placed within the episode," Kasperlik said.
"So Layla – the leggings, the print that is on her leggings when she is Scarlet Scarab, we did that print on her leg, on her sweatpants, in the mental institution. If someone looks really close, they can see that that’s a mirrored print. So it’s like: in his head, what has he seen in the mental institution that he’s like, 'When are we seeing it later? What is really happening?'"

Another missed Easter egg concerns the character Bertrand Crawley. In the comics, Crawley is a homeless man who serves as an informant for Moon Knight. In the series, Crawley is depicted as a street performer who dresses as an all-gold living statue.
"We see that Crawley has the hat that he had when he’s in London. He has the same hat that he’s pulling the bingo balls out of. It’s just white versus the gold," Kasperlik explained.

The third missed Easter egg is particularly cool — and involves some crafty filmmaking techniques. Again, it comes in a scene in the psychiatric hospital. Kasperlik explains that while the TV show doesn't necessarily show this part explicitly, they did actually do it and it is there to see.
"It’s when [Arthur Harrow] walks away and has blood on his sandals. We put on the bottom of the sandals, built into the sole, there’s a crocodile imprint on it. So when he walks away, there’s an imprint in the blood of a crocodile. I don’t think they ended up focusing on it, but we actually practically did it," Kasperlik said.

Moon Knight is one of the MCU's better-received series, with plenty of praise going to Oscar Isaac's dual performance as Steven Grant and Marc Spector. The limited series ran for six episodes, although it is unclear if a second season is going ahead or not.
Moon Knight is streaming on Disney+.
