The new-look Mat Cauthon also makes his appearance, he was originally played by Barney Harris but was recast with The Witcher's Dónal Finn.
Showrunner Rafe Judkins previously opened up about the decision to switch actors, telling fans that the change won't be too jarring.
"It's always hard but we're really lucky that Barney is so great in the first season; I love him in the show," said Judkins. "And Dónal Finn, who is playing Mat in season two, is amazing. I have seen him up on set doing his scenes now and they're incredible and they fully capture the character."
As the teaser trailer draws to a close, the voice of Fares Fares' Dark One can be heard saying: "The only way to stop all this suffering, is to stop the Wheel itself."
The Wheel of Time season 1 is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, while season 2 is yet to receive a release date.
