The Morning Show keeps on getting bigger. The Apple TV+ show has just added another stellar cast member to its already exciting roster.
Star Trek actor Tig Notaro has joined the likes of Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm as new series regulars for the upcoming third season of the hit show. Notaro will play a character named Amanda Robinson, the chief of staff to Hamm's corporate player Paul Marks.
Notaro has been a recurring star in Star Trek: Discovery since season 2, in which she plays the comedic role of engineer Jett Reno. Notaro has had roles in several acclaimed shows including Transparent and Fresh Off the Boat, while she's starred in many stand-up comedy specials.

The Morning Show follows the personal and professional lives of the characters who work on a popular morning news show in the US. The series stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon as hosts of the news show Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson respectively, with Steve Carell appearing as disgraced host Mitch Kessler who was accused of misconduct.
Featuring alongside Aniston, Witherspoon and Carell are Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Marcia Gay Harden, Karen Pittman and Tom Irwin, amongst others. Aniston and Witherspoon produce the show as well as star in it.

Witherspoon, Crudup, and Harden all received Emmy nominations this year for their performances in the show while Crudup won an Emmy for the first season in 2020.

Earlier this year a third season was officially ordered by Apple TV+, with production already underway on the series.
"We're excited to see where Charlotte [Stoudt, the new showrunner] takes these extraordinary characters in season three and to watch the magic that Jennifer, Reese and our awe-inspiring cast continue to bring to the captivating world of morning television," Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, said of the renewal.
The Morning Show seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Apple TV+.
