Riverdale's Charles Melton and Watchmen star Tim Blake Nelson are the latest names to board Poker Face, a new mystery series from Rian Johnson.
This tantalising 10-episoder was ordered by Peacock all the way back in March 2021, attracting serious talent in the form of Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll), Adrien Brody (The Pianist), Jameela Jamil (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), Chloe Sevigny (American Horror Story) and Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory).
Thanks to Variety, it's also been revealed that Ron Perlman (Nightmare Alley) and Nick Nolte (The Mandalorian) have now joined the ensemble.

Although there's been no official announcement, it's reported that Poker Face uses a procedural format and Lyonne's character solves a new murder in each episode.
Judging by his prior work in the genre, Knives Out director Johnson might just mix in a few laughs amidst the blood and police tape.

"Daniel [Craig] was back and Benoit has his style and his flair that is very specific to this film series, and yeah, it's gonna hit all the same fun beats. It's such a ride.

"The script was a brick. When it came in, it's like... I don't even remember, it's very, very long. So I was turning the pages trying to figure it out," she recalled.
"But I know Rian was so clever, I knew there was no way I was going to figure it out before he wanted me to."
Knives Out is available to rent or buy now on DVD, Blu-ray or as a digital download – and its sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is on the way for Netflix.
