Ted Lasso stars have teased the show's possible future beyond season three.
Despite suggestions that the next season could be the last, the cast said at the FYC event in Beverly Hills that they would be happy to continue the show if possible (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent, said everything was in developer Jason Sudeikis' hands: "[Jason] is our captain, and in terms of the future, everything is in his hands. He's gotten us this far; you know what I mean?
"We just trust whatever he decides to do will be the right thing to do. I know we would all love to do this forever, but I guess at some point, we will all die."

Phil Dunster, who plays footballer Jamie Tartt, described his feelings in an interesting way: "You know when you're at a really nice party, and you're like, if it ends, you can leave and know that it was a really wonderful party? There was a great bar; I had great chats with people, I danced like an idiot and you know, I was so happy to be there."

"Nobody knows anything about season four and Apple has not told us not to say anything but if it happens, I will be very happy to go to the next part." he added.
And Toheeb Jimoh, who stars as right-winger Sam Obisanya, even hinted at his character opening a restaurant before quickly finishing by saying he didn't want to say much more.

While Goldstein had confirmed that the show would end in three seasons, Brendan Hunt believed that the show could continue.
In June 2022, Hunt, who plays Coach Beard, told Consequence that another arc is possible, saying: "We've certainly expanded those beats, but it does not mean that the whole kit and caboodle is getting chucked."
However, he said it would only happen if the team chose to do so.
