Disney has announced a Darth Vader helmet light just in time for the finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Star Wars fans can now place pre-orders for the Darth Vader Light with Sound, courtesy of Zavvi for £22.99 ahead of a July 31, 2022 release date.

This battery-powered light is shaped exactly like Vader's real helmet, as it appears in the live-action series on Disney+. The eerie lighting effect will cast a red glow through Vader's eyes and mouth grill.

Measuring in at 14cm tall, the full Darth Vader ambiance is easily achieved as the helmet also mimics the intimidating breathing sounds the Sith Lord is known for throughout the galaxy far, far away.

Now, this helmet is purely a light. If you want a Vader helmet you can actually wear, Hasbro recently announced an electronic replica that is based on the design in Obi-Wan.

Of course, these helmets don't come with any of those evil Sith powers — and that's definitely a good thing. Let's leave the conquering to the galaxy to Hayden Christensen for now, shall we?

If you're really into Star Wars wearable helmets, others have recently been announced for The Mandalorian's Din Djarin, the Death Watch and Bo-Katan.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is now streaming new episodes weekly on Disney+, airing on Wednesdays. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+.
