Marvel's Ironheart show has cast Good Girls and Mayans MC star Manny Montana as a series regular opposite Dominique Thorne, who plays the titular character of Ironheart, aka Riri Williams, on the Disney+ show (via Deadline).
The story follows Riri Williams, a genius inventor and creator of the most advanced suit of armour since Iron Man. Marvel Comics first introduced the character of Riri Williams in 2016 as a 15-year-old MIT student who reverse-engineers Tony Stark's Iron Man suit.
Montana's role in the series, which is currently in production, has not yet been disclosed.

Montana was last seen in NBC's Good Girls and is currently starring in Mayans MC. He will also be seen in the upcoming season of HBO's Westworld.
In the MCU, Thorne will make her debut as Ironheart in the upcoming Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, which will set up the Ironheart series.
The show is being produced by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, along with the rest of the usual heads at Marvel Studios (Kevin Feige et al). It is being directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes.

Mayans MC is a spinoff of the popular show Sons of Anarchy, which ran for seven seasons. Speaking of what they plan to do on season four, Elgin James said at the time, "[In season three] we dealt with consequences, and I think we're going to continue to," James told Deadline back in May 2021. "I think everything is going to continue to spiral…"
"So much of EZ and Gaby's story was the story of me and my wife, who started dating me when I was still in the gang. So, [with] where he will go now, it's like I'm exploring what would have happened if she had left, if she didn't have the patience that she had, if she hadn't given me a second chance," he added.
Mayans MC airs on FX and Hulu in the US and on Disney+ in the UK.
