Marvel's upcoming Ironheart series has signed up a new cast member to join stars Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos.
The new Disney+ series, which centres on teenage inventor Riri Williams (Thorne), is bringing This Is Us star Lyric Ross on board.
The actress will take on the role of Williams' best friend, according to The Hollywood Reporter, though no further details have been given. Ramos, meanwhile, is playing an as-yet-undisclosed role, though reports suggest he could be a villain.

Ross is perhaps best known for playing Déjà Pearson in This Is Us, and has also popped up on Chicago Fire.
The central character is known for reverse engineering her own Iron Man suit in her MIT dorm, and in the comics even takes over from Tony Stark as Iron Man at points.
However, Williams is due to make her live-action debut in big-screen outing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, due out later this year, rather than Ironheart.

Ironheart has been written by Snowpiercer's Chinaka Hodge, and is one of a host of Marvel Disney+ shows on the way.
Among them are Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac as the titular character, which is due out later this month, and She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany pencilled in for release midway through 2022.
Also on the way are Ms Marvel, which makes history with Marvel's first Muslim superhero Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and is expected later this year, and Secret Invasion, which sees Samuel L Jackson return as Nick Fury alongside Marvel newbies Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke.
On top of that is War Machine-focused series Armor Wars starring Don Cheadle, and a Black Panther TV series.
Ironheart is set to stream on Disney+.
