A Discovery of Witches actor Steven Cree would love to return as bloodsucker Gallowglass in a spin-off project.
The fantasy drama's third and (probably) final season premiered this month, so to mark the occasion, the Scotsman sat down for an exclusive chat with Digital Spy.

"I would 100% be up for more Gallowglass – I don't know whether Sky have the rights to do that, though!" he began.
"Gallowglass is a great character. It's been like playing two different characters because in season two he is like a rock 'n' roll vampire in the Elizabethan era, and in season three he is a motorbiker vampire who is in a completely different state of mind."
Cree, who's also appeared in the likes of Outlander and Terminator: Dark Fate, went on to point out: "I think there is huge scope for the different stories of those missing years and the future – the only aspect I wouldn't fancy is having to spend so much time in the gym again!"

Elsewhere in our conversation, the star revealed how he first landed the part.
"I got a phone call from my agent saying that they were casting for A Discovery of Witches, and this was the character, and the description was that he was this physical giant almost, so on that side of things I don't quite fit!" he recalled.
"But character and personality wise – sometimes when you go for certain parts, you kind of feel right from the offset, and you might have a good chance because you connect or you might have some natural qualities that lend themselves to that role, and I kind of felt that with Gallowglass."
A Discovery of Witches airs on Sky Max and NOW in the UK, while US fans can catch it over on AMC+.
