A Discovery of Witches star Teresa Palmer has secured her next movie role in The Fall Guy.
The Hacksaw Ridge actress joins the star-studded cast alongside Barbie’s Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, Deadline confirms.
Universal’s The Fall Guy will reportedly be a little different to the 1980s action-adventure series of the same name though, which saw Lee Majors, Douglas Barr and Heather Thomas take on the role of Hollywood stunt performers who also moonlight as bounty hunters.

The Hollywood Reporter claimed it will focus on Gosling's stuntman character (whose best year are behind him) as he gets back on a movie set with Aaron Taylor-Johnson's character, who he used to body double for. The only problem? Taylor-Johnson's character is nowhere to be found.

Production has already begun in Australia, as director David Leitch works alongside the cast and producers Kelly McCormick and Guymon Casady towards the confirmed March 1, 2024, release date.
Fans can expect an action-packed storyline as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw writer Drew Pearce is teaming back up with Leitch as the writer and executive producer on the project.
Alongside Palmer, Gosling, Blunt, and Taylor-Johnson, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Winston Duke and Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham are also set to appear in the movie.

After her time in movies such as Warm Bodies, The Twin and The Hunger Games, Palmer appeared in the hit Sky series with Downton Abbey’s Matthew Goode.
She played Diana Bishop for three seasons until the 2022 finale, that were based on Deborah Harkness' bestselling books, and has said she would "jump" at the chance to return to the show.
A Discovery of Witches airs on Sky Max and NOW in the UK, and AMC+ in the US.
