Marvel and The Book of Boba Fett star Ming-Na Wen has expressed support for a campaign to bring back Agents of SHIELD.

The ABC series, which starred the actress as Melinda May/The Cavalry, came to an end in 2020 after seven seasons.

However, there has been a particular interest in reviving the show lately, with fans starting the #SaveAgentsofSHIELD hashtag on social media, which is also pushing for the show to be made part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Reacting to the campaign, Wen told Deadline: "I love that our small fanbase is getting bigger and bigger, because I think people are starting to rewatch all the episodes and realising what a wonderful series it was and I love the fans and the fans' reactions."

She added of a possible revival: "Fingers crossed. Who knows?"

Aside from Marvel, the actress is currently starring in another big Disney project in Boba Fett, taking on the role of Fennec Shand once again after appearing in The Mandalorian.

Earlier this year, Wen addressed her status on season 3 of the latter show, admitting doubts over whether she will return.

"I don't know. You'll probably find out before I do," she told Digital Spy. "You guys have your feelers out on everything. I mean, come on, I didn't even know I was shooting The Book of Boba Fett, so you're asking the wrong person."

The actress is also lining-up an appearance in LGBTQIA+ musical Glitter & Doom, which features songs from iconic rock duo Indigo Girls.

The Book of Boba Fett is streaming on Disney+, with new episodes every Wednesday.
