The WGA and SAG-AFTRA union strikes continue to attract screen megastars.

Following in the footsteps of the Parks & Recreation cast, it was Marvel's Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton and Briana Venskus on the picket line yesterday (August 17).

Melinda May actress Wen promoted their reunion on Instagram, writing next to several shots: "Hello, family of agents. #solidarity #picketline #sagaftrastrike #sagaftrastrong #wgastrong,"

Fans from around the world reacted positively to this Agents participation in the Hollywood strikes, which are fighting to increase pay and protect performers from AI-based issues.

"I love this reunion!!! But at the same time, I'm really sad that the strike is still necessary. Here's to hoping that actors and writers will get paid what they deserve soon!!! #WGAStrong #sagaftra," read one of the many comments.

SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher previously said of the frustrating situation: "SAG-AFTRA negotiated in good faith and was eager to reach a deal that sufficiently addressed performer needs, but the AMPTP's responses to the union's most important proposals have been insulting and disrespectful of our massive contributions to this industry."

In light of a negotiatory breakdown, the organisation hit back with: "Rather than continuing to negotiate, SAG-AFTRA has put us on a course that will deepen the financial hardship for thousands who depend on the industry for their livelihoods."
