The Vampire Diaries TV universe has just featured another character crossover, as a fan-favourite character from The Originals just appeared on Legacies.
The latest episode of the franchise's spin-off confirmed the fan theory that it is Aurora de Martel who has been on the phone to Hope Mikaelson. The Home and Away actress turns up in person with an excellent intro, telling Hope that she is her "father's lover and his greatest enemy, the object of his art, his desire and his depthless scorn".
She's out for revenge, and with Hope's father Klaus out of the picture, the daughter will have to do.

"Repairing the sort of damage I have experienced at the hands of your father is not so simple," she says. "Klaus destroyed my life, my very sanity, over the course of centuries. So can you imagine my disappointment when I was woken up and learned that he had taken the cowards's way out for you."
At first, Hope is unimpressed with Aurora and her plan, and beats her in combat. But then Aurora reveals her dastardly plan: to swap bodies with Hope, which she achieves. She also reveals that she wanted Hope to kill the other members of the Triad.

Out of her depth, Hope flees the scene. Will she be able to defeat Aurora and get her body back? Well, yes, but how she will do that is the question.
