The Vampire Diaries may have brought us nine seasons of evil (yet attractive) monsters, magic, lots of deaths and even more resurrections. But one of the top villains to come from the show has to be Kai Parker – the sociopathic leader of the Gemini Coven.
Parker (played by Chris Wood) is due to appear in Vampire Diaries spin-off show Legacies in a couple of weeks, and we've just heard what kind of hellish havoc he'll be wreaking when he does.
Old timer Alaric, along with Kai's nieces Lizzie and Josie, are due to be sent to the very same Prison World that Bonnie imprisoned Kai in at the end of the Vampire Diaries series, according to TV Guide.

New nemesis Alyssa Chang sends them there, using a new ascendant made by Lizzie and Josie to send away a dark magic hourglass.
Even worse, it's revealed that both Alaric and Emma (a witch and counsellor at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted) have been sending unruly students to the Prison World, if they felt they couldn't be rehabilitated.
So, they've been feeding Kai an army of angry, vengeful recruits. Perfect.

Parker has plenty reasons to be vengeful, what with an upcoming Gemini Merge between Lizzie and Josie putting his power at risk – not to mention the many years of imprisonment and bad blood between himself and friends of the Salvatores.
We can't wait to see what he'll do with that much magic to siphon – it's a perfect opportunity for revenge, and a load of '90s references.
Legacies airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW in the US.
