The long-awaited second part will drop on Netflix on March 22, and in the first trailer we get a sense of where things are going.

Namely, into another dimension, as Prairie helps a private investigator search for a missing teenager... one that she so happens to recognise.

The OA follows the tale of Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling), a girl who is seemingly cured of her blindness after having an NDE (near-death experience). Isaacs plays Hap Percy, a scientist who kidnaps and conducts experiments on people who have experienced an NDE.

As well as Isaacs, the first series also starred Riz Ahmed as Prairie's therapist Elias Rahim, and the late Scott Wilson as Prairie's father.
