Being totally honest, the Digital Spy team is so excited for Peter Capaldi's debut as a certain Time Lord this Saturday that it was difficult to piece together this week's Tube Talk Q&A - we're an emotional omnishambles.
But even we have to admit that there's more to telly than Doctor Who - so while there's a little timey-wimey talk below, we also have scoop on all the other weird, wild and wonderful TV shows heading your way in the coming weeks and months.
Great that Doctor Who is getting a later slot this Saturday - but are the BBC going to be shifting it about the schedules?
Yes, in case you somehow missed it, 'Deep Breath' - Capaldi's first official outing as the new Doctor - will air this Saturday, August 23 at 7.50pm on BBC One. That's the latest slot for a new series launch since Doctor Who returned in 2005 - probably 'cos this new Doctor's all dark and mysterious and edgy and that.
Episode two of series eight, 'Into the Dalek', was originally expected to air just five minutes earlier - at 7.45pm on August 30 - but when ITV confirmed that The X Factor would return at 8pm on that date, BBC One blinked in the game of scheduling chicken and pushed Who back by 15 minutes.
This means that the new Doctor's first encounter with his greatest foes will now air at 7.30pm, clashing with Simon Cowell's reality juggernaut for a mere 15 minutes instead of 30.

Any news about a third series of Utopia?
Not yet, we're afraid. Series creator Dennis Kelly certainly has plans for another run of his vivid, violent drama series, but series two didn't perform anywhere near as well as Channel 4 might have hoped, ratings-wise.
Utopia 2 was drawing under 1m viewers in the overnights, which doesn't bode well - though there's the possibility that the channel's passion for the series might save it.
We'd suggest keeping those fingers crossed and, to pass the time until we get official word on the show's future, read our blog on why there really, really should be more Utopia, please.
Ripper and Quirke please! Any news would be lovely.
When you say, 'Ripper', we assume you're talking about BBC One's Ripper Street and not that Buffy spinoff starring Anthony Head? Because the latter probably ain't happening - sorry.
Ripper Street though is very much happening - having got over that whole awkward cancellation thing, Reid, Drake and Jackson will be back for a third series.
Amazon Prime Instant Video customers will be able to watch 8 new episodes later this year, while BBC One will air the series - in edited form - in early 2015.
What's that? You want a plot spoiler too? Fine - let's just say that Reid (Matthew Macfadyen) and Jackson (Adam Rothenberg) are at serious loggerheads when the new series begins - awkward reunion ahoy!
I've heard great things about The Strain. When do we get it in the UK?
Personally, the best thing we heard about The Strain was that the Guillermo del Toro chiller has been renewed for a second season - no danger of us latching onto a new show only for it to be unceremoniously dumped by its US broadcaster!
The first season of the Corey Stoll starrer will launch on Watch in the UK next month - Wednesday, September 17 at 10pm, to be exact - and is well worth tuning in for... so long as you've got a strong stomach!
What happened to Beauty & the Beast on Watch? It just disappeared!
Yes, after airing just 16 of season two's 22 episodes, Watch pulled Beauty and the Beast - but the fault was actually with the show's US home, The CW, who put the Kristin Kreuk series on a three-month hiatus.
Good news though - BATB will return to UK screens in October and episode 17, 'Beast is the New Black' sees Cat (Kreuk) and the team working together to clear Vincent's name after he's arrested for murder!
