Arlene Phillips has spoken about Strictly Come Dancing's latest scandal – you know, the one involving Seann Walsh, Katya Jones, alcohol, kissing, and photographers.
Appearing on today's Lorraine (October 10), former Strictly judge Arlene said that she thinks the pair should dance this week, and called for the judges to look at their moves and nothing else.

"I absolutely think they should be allowed to dance," she told Lorraine Kelly. "They are consenting adults, the public appear to be the moral guardians.
"I'm not condoning what they did at all but it's a dance competition. Unless they have signed some kind of disclosure – that there is a behaviour contract – they are not about to be stopped from dancing. That's what they are hired to do – dance."
She later said of the judges: "They have to come in and judge them on the dance. They have to be professional. They are hired as professional judges, they are hired to do that. They are not moral code judges. It's about the dances, technique and storytelling."
Seann and Katya have both publicly apologised after photographs of the two sharing a kiss were published in The Sun newspaper on Sunday, with the comedian saying it was a one-off mistake.

Arlene also spoke about the 'Strictly curse', adding: "There is so much passion, sensuality and storytelling through dance. It's such an intense relationship.
"There is a goal, every Saturday night there is a target they have to hit to stay in the competition. The pros want to stay in, the celebrities want to stay in.
"You get closer and closer, you are thrown together. Many people in a very strong relationship, it doesn't matter how close you get or how physical you are, they go home."
Discussing Katya's relationship with her husband Neil, Arlene stated: "We all love Neil and Katya, there is a togetherness. In truth, who knows what their relationship [is like]?
"I know many people who have open relationships and we know nothing about Seann's relationship with his girlfriend."
Seann and Katya are still expected to continue on in the competition, and will be dancing the Charleston to 'Bills' by LunchMoney Lewis during this weekend's show.
Strictly Come Dancing will return this Saturday (October 13) on BBC One, while It Takes Two airs Mondays through Fridays on BBC Two.
