Equal pay was a big topic on today's (April 3) Loose Women as the show welcomed The Apprentice star Karren Brady to the panel.
The businesswoman was promoting her new Channel 5 show Why Do Men Earn More Than Women? and discussed the reasons why pay between the genders was not the same.
However, at one point panelist Janet Street-Porter weighed in to reveal that she helped the ITV show's panel get higher salaries as they discussed differing attitudes.
"How did we get a pay rise on Loose Women?" Janet asked, before the others revealed: "You demanded it, Janet".
"We all earn the same money, everyone doing the same job gets the same money," Janet explained.
"Earlier this summer I felt we were underpaid, so I wrote a letter to our boss on behalf of all of us. I didn't tell them I wrote it.

"I'm the oldest, I've got the least to lose, and I'm the most aggressive."
During the discussion, Karren explained that part of the problem of the lack of equal pay was "women not demanding what they're worth".
Recalling a discussion she had in the past on "attitude", the star said: "A majority of women accept the job then ask what it pays, a majority of men ask what it pays and then accept the job."
During the show, Janet also stirred some controversy with viewers after criticising a body-positive picture of Linda Robson.
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
