The Island with Bear Grylls was back for a fifth series tonight (April 2) and it's shaping up to be the most divisive yet.
Two teams of eight people were abandoned at opposite ends of a remote island in the Pacific Ocean, battling the elements to find shelter and food.
One of the groups consisted of people living off an average income of £100,000 a year, while the members of the other group all earn below the UK national average wage.
When the teams encountered each other on the beach, tempers quickly frayed as they struggled to cooperate.
With some of the wealthier islanders dubbing the other group "not my kind of people", there was a definite class divide being suggested – and they soon decided they would split again as they couldn't work together.
The less well-off team soon realised that the wealthier group had taken some of their resources and dubbed them "sneaky" and "thieves".
