Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent is opening up about how she is finding her Dancing on Ice experience - and how it compares to her time on the ITV soap.

When asked if the skating competition was scarier than the two live episodes of Corrie she's done ahead of this weekend's double elimination, the star said admitted that "performing on ice is the scarier thing."

"In week one we got into a situation we weren't supposed to be in; if that had been at Corrie, I would have known exactly what to do and would have carried on going," the actress, who plays Sophie Webster on the soap, continued.

"I've been brought up there, I know where the cameras are, what is happening, whose line is next, whereas in a situation on the ice, it's brand new to me. So yes definitely the ice is scarier!"

The actress also added that this week has definitely been the scariest so far for her, and while she has never been fully satisfied with her performances, she feels that she is still a winner because of life choices she has made because of being in the competition.

"Even if I'm not in the final, I've done one of my life's big accomplishments and I've gone above and beyond to stay off smoking. I'm proud of myself for doing that," Brooke said.
