Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has showed off the fruits of his, erm, torment after appearing on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.
Much like girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh's dramatic body transformation, Ryan revealed his shock weight loss (and cracking tan) after enduring the island all in the name of charity.
Calling his time on Bear Grylls' little slice of paradise "indescribable", Ryan explained the extent of the 'mental and physical' challenges the islanders faced.
"Not even a television show can put into perspective how mentally and physically we got tested on this island," he wrote.
"My before and after is an example of the lack of food, 8 days no eating trying to survive with so little energy. I m extremely proud of myself and my fellow islander[s]."

Following the show's conclusion, Ryan's fellow islander and current partner Lucy has been opening up about her own extreme weight loss from her time on the island.
Revealing she'd gone down to a 23-inch waist, Lucy called the whole process "weird": "You don't really feel as thin as you are because you don't have a mirror."
In other, slightly more uplifting news, Lucy has also confessed just how close she and Ryan are after being marooned on a tropical island together.
Reflecting on the couple's unexpected intimacy, Lucy said: "I literally had no energy to go to the toilet. He basically held me up while I weed, and I may have weed on his foot a little bit.
"Not many people can say that after a week of knowing someone, can they?"
