Following Blind Date's triumphant and nostalgic return to our screens last week, tonight's show meant it was time to find out exactly how the couples got on on those dates.

Now, back in the Cilla Black days, the lucky singletons looking for love were sent to the most exotic of places on their dates, but last week Paul sent the couples to do things like play ping pong and mini golf which was far less entertaining.

And this week it didn't get a whole lot better either – a camping trip with someone who's pretty much a stranger is just asking for major awkwardness.

Aside from the dodgy dates, though, Blind Date proved once again it attracts some very determined people as one single hopeful rocked up to the show wearing an actual WEDDING dress. Er, as you do.

She said the dress was just "an impulse buy" and that she'd decided to wear it especially for tonight, so we're guessing she doesn't just randomly wear it when all her jeans are in the wash.

What to Read Next

Everyone still LOVES Paul O'Grady presenting, of course, and doesn't think there's anyone else who could do the job.

But it does seem like the nostalgia might be wearing off already, as some viewers are getting a bit bored by the format and it's only episode two.
