Blind Date got a bit erm... muggy on tonight's (June 23) episode as viewers were given a big, unintentional twist in proceedings.
Following last week's episode, we checked on couple Cali and Alexi, who went on a romantic date to South Africa.
While it all seemed to be going so well at the start, in the end it wasn't to be for the pair, especially after Alexi admitted he would rather be off with his friends than there with Cali. Awks.
Naturally, in the studio they were left to go their separate ways... but then host Paul O'Grady announced unexpectedly that Barry – one of last week's other daters who picked a girl in a separate segment – was coming back.
His date with girl Cherry earlier in the show didn't go very well either – we mean, he referred to her breasts as "whippies" for crying out loud.
It was then revealed that Barry and Cali had started to get close themselves, the latter explaining: "Me and Barry started talking. We bumped into each other in the corridor."

"I left her my number up in the changing room," Barry added, as they revealed they were staying in the same Travelodge.
Poor Alexi was clearly feeling like a third wheel on the sofa, saying that he "knew she wasn't that innocent anyway".
Paul then asked if they were messaging while Cali was on her date with Alexi, but Cali insisted: "Definitely not, I wouldn't do that."
"She was!" Barry then interjected, Cali saying: "You liar!"
"This poor lad takes this girl on safari and you're carrying on behind," Paul then jokingly noted.
Viewers at home couldn't quite get over how awkward the whole thing was:
We guess that's what you call being mugged off, eh?
