Big Brother spoilers follow.

Big Brother has aired its first live eviction of the 22nd series after Gani Khan and Zelah Glasson both faced the public vote. In a huge shake-up to the evening's events due to Storm Amy, the live eviction was moved from the outside set to the Big Brother: Late & Live studio.

In this week's episodes, fan-favourite Zelah and Gani were both put up for eviction after new housemates Cameron B, Feyisola, George and Richard gave them both an evil eye during a challenge

In tonight's (3 October) live show, it was revealed that Zelah had been saved from eviction following the public vote and that pizza shop manager Gani would be leaving the Big Brother House immediately.

Kicking things off tonight from the Big Brother: Late & Live studio, host Will Best announced: "As you can see we're doing things a bit differently tonight due to Storm Amy being a big diva."

The last-minute change to the eviction format meant that Gani was unable to leave via the front door. After leaving the house, a shocked Gani was met by Will in the corridor.

Will said: "There's a bit of a storm out there okay? So there's no crowd out there. I'm going to take you over to the Late & Live studio. Your friends and family are waiting for you."

Despite not being met with as large a crowd on his exit, Gani was greeted by co-host AJ Odudu in the Big Brother: Late & Live studio. Asked why he thought the public hadn't chosen to save him, Gani said: "They didn't get to see much more about me."

On why he was given an evil eye, Gani said: "I don't know. For some reason they're thinking the way I'm behaving in the house, maybe they're thinking I'm doing it for [the] camera."
