Bake Off's Ian has unusual way of practising

There's no denying that facing Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood's judging critique in the Great British Bake Off tent would strike fear into any amateur baker, but current competitor Ian Cumming has found an unusual way around that problem.

The 41-year-old Cambridgeshire father gets his two children involved in the baking action by putting them in Berry and Hollywood masks, and we have to admit that the miniature judges are much less intimidating than the real deal...

It's not clear whether mini-Mary and mini-Paul approved of Ian's Tarte Normande, but last week's Star Baker certainly has a high reputation to live up to in tonight's competition.

The Great British Bake Off airs today (August 19) at 8pm on BBC One, with the competitors taking on Bread Week.
