Celebrity Big Brother host Will Best has weighed in on Mickey Rourke's removal from the house due to inappropriate language and behaviour.
Best appeared on ITV's This Morning today, saying that the actor's exit was not "something entirely unexpected, just because it's an extreme environment".
While Best said that he doesn't believe Rourke is an "evil man", he said the star's behaviour left the other housemates feeling "a bit scared" and "vulnerable".
"I can't repeat exactly what Mickey said, but it was bad, and it made not just Chris [Hughes] – Chris handled it very well – but it made the rest of the house feel vulnerable, a bit scared," Best said.
This comes after an argument escalated during a pirate task. Rourke later apologised, though he was also reprimanded for making a sexually inappropriate comment to Ella Rae Wise earlier in the day.

Speaking about the incident, Best added that "sadly", the same day Rourke made "totally inappropriate" remarks to Wise that "made her feel understandably vulnerable, and that is the point where you've got to go".
Rourke acknowledged his behaviour in the Diary Room, saying he was "ashamed of [himself] for losing it for a few seconds there".

However, Big Brother pointed out his language and conduct were "seriously unacceptable" and asked him to leave.
"I went over the line, you know, I did wrong," Rourke said. "I guess, like they say, I'm a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn't chosen."
Celebrity Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
