Lauren Laverne made her return to The One Show following her treatment for cancer, with the star saying she felt “great.”

The presenter shared back in August that she had been diagnosed with cancer, though she stated at the time that she was “expected to make a full recovery” after doctors had “caught it early”.

Laverne, who also hosts Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4, stated on Sunday (November 24) that she had been given the “all clear” and would soon appear back on the small screen as well as the radio.

“I feel great, you know,” Laverne replied. “I'm really, really pleased to be back. It's lovely to be back on the iconic sofa instead of watching at home on mine and largely I feel good because I've had so many wonderful messages from viewers.
