Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has returned to the morning show after the summer break, sharing an adorable throwback picture.

Reid has come back to GMB today (September 3), marking back-to-school week for students across the UK with her own school picture. The sweet snap sees Reid, who must've been around 10 at the time, posing in the garden in her uniform and hugging her Snoopy stuffy.

"I went to three schools – and enjoyed those days," Reid said of her school memories.

"I wasn't great at sport, but I'd sometimes throw myself into competitions even though I wasn't the same standard as the girls who were good," she added.

"I watched the Australian breakdancer at the Olympics with an air of awkward recognition."

Reid took a break from her hosting duties earlier this summer, announcing she'd return in September.

"I'm going to say goodbye because it's now time for me to go off on a break, which means I say goodbye to you at home," she told viewers in July.

"You never know, I might pop up in the meantime, but otherwise I see you back in September!"

The presenter spent part of her break in Ibiza with her three sons, who she shares with her ex-partner, sports correspondent Dominic Cotton.

"This summer I took my boys to Ibiza. I have been going for ten years and it was amazing to really enjoy it with my boys now they are old enough to go clubbing," Reid said.

"We go to the day clubs together, and then I go back to the hotel and they go to the nightclubs!"

Good Morning Britain airs live from 6am weekdays on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
