What to Read Next
In the book, Paul opens up about his early life, where he was closeted from his family and desperate to pursue a career in entertainment rather than medicine as his parents wanted.
Paul managed to triumph over those early struggles to become one of the most recognisable figures on TV game shows, as one of the experts on Bradley Walsh's The Chase and Beat the Chasers.
Known on the show as "The Sinnerman"/"The Sinhaman", Bradley also frequently refers to Paul as "the smiling assassin" for his witty retorts before shutting down an unlucky contestant.
One Sinha Lifetime chronicles Paul's lifelong search for meaning with plenty of humour and a helping of general knowledge along the way.
Here's the official synopsis: "Amid life's chaos, it was general knowledge — the security of clear questions with correct, if not always simple, answers — that kept Paul sane, even as he struggled into a new life as a stand-up comedian. And it was an unexpected introduction to a pub quiz team that took things even further, introducing him to a new life, a new identity, and, eventually, new love…"
The Chase and Beat the Chasers air on ITV1.
