Jonathon Van Ness shared the announcement on his personal Instagram account, alongside the promotional poster.

"And we're back! Y'all won't want to miss the heroes this season… on another level," read the post's caption.

Season eight will be the last series to feature Interior Design expert Bobby Berk, who announced his departure from the show in November 2023.

In an Instagram post confirming his exit, Berk wrote: "It's with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye. It's not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon. I love you all so so much and I'll meet you all in Nola for one final season."

We appreciate the heart and dedication he has brought to Queer Eye and wish him the very best."

A ninth season of the reality show was announced the same day as Berk's exit, with the next season set to film in Los Angeles. Netflix additionally confirmed that Queer Eye season nine would drop in the same year, towards the end of 2024.

Queer Eye season 8 premieres on Netflix on January 24, 2024.
